Pascal Desk and Conference Tables Knoll

Designed by Pascal Mourgue in 1985.

Pascal Mourgue had been a wood sculpture student at L'Ecole Boulle and pursued his interest in design and interior architecture at L'Ecole Nationale des Artes Decoratifs in his native France. In 1985, he developed the Pascal table system of conference tables, designed to be easily and attractively combined and interchanged to suit new commercial needs, especially those of the emerging home office. Desks and conference tables feature a timeless design and a variety of shapes, such as round, racetrack, square and rectangular. They are suitable for private office as well as meeting spaces. Legs are in aluminium in black epoxy or polished aluminium finish. Multiple sectioned tables have two legs bridging each section, plus two legs at each end, with adjustable black glides.
Tops are in marble or veneer. Marble tops are coated with transparent polyester.
